Project Management, Procurement, and Supply Chain Expert Witness
Dr. Joseph Albright is a business and supply chain expert with over 28 years of experience in procurement operations, ERP system implementation, project management, and global supply network leadership. His expertise includes supplier management, procurement analytics, business process improvement, and the execution of large-scale system and operational projects across complex organizations.
Dr. Albright has led procurement, rental, and ERP system and process initiatives across more than 40 facilities in over 24 countries, including several associated with business mergers. He has extensive experience managing cross-functional project teams, overseeing large-scale system implementations, and analyzing operational and project performance to identify root causes of failure or inefficiency.
He previously held leadership roles at Caterpillar Inc., where he managed global procurement and project management teams, directed ERP system deployments, and led complex initiatives involving finance, operations, IT, and supplier networks. His work included supplier negotiations resulting in significant cost savings, as well as the successful execution and recovery of large-scale business and technology projects.
In addition to his industry experience, Dr. Albright has over a decade of university teaching experience in economics, accounting, financial reporting, business analytics, and management. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration with research focused on supply chain collaboration, procurement social capital, absorptive capacity, and value co-creation in buyer–supplier relationships.
